Calgary's Finest ???

So today I'm driving around the city, and surprise surprise there's a backlog of cars as I approach 36 st on 17 ave SE. Thinking it's an accident I flip off 17th and maneuver my way back on 35St. Traffic is bogged right down.. So was anyone hurt I thought to myself? Looking
back to see what was happening, guess what's going on ? It's a seat belt check!!! It's one of those laws that is never enforced when it's in the dead of winter or if it happens to be raining out..In a city of over a million people with everyone owning two cars.. It's a fine example of my tax dollars hard at work.. Think of all the idling cars on the avenue.. Who at the "city" comes up with these idiotic make work projects?

Ahh , the miracle of spring. It's a rebirth of my corner of God's earth. I so do like this time of year.
