MRI Standby
Its 10:30 , my appointment with Dr Dixon is at 11:50. Better get going, you never know , sometimes when you're early you can get in a bit sooner. I'm kind of antsy about this one. I had my MRI last Sunday and I'm thinking he may not have the results yet. This is the a follow up on my pancreatic surgery from november of 2011, and to me it's a big deal.
We pass the noon hour and on the way to one. Ten minutes before one I get the call. First thing he says, "you look well , have you lost some weight ?" This guy is one of Calgary's finest and sought after surgeons for the the type of operation he performed on me. I know he's busy with a huge workload and I'm just pleased that he remembers me.
I tell him about my recent heart attack and my exercise and diet. Then sure enough he doesn't have the mri results. So he looks up my pictures on the computer. I'm no expert he says but they look good to him. He tells me to relax and don't worry. Give him a call later this week and he'll confirm what he just gave an educated guess to. Good news to get and worth waiting for.
